Okay so I feel awful right now and I need something to cheer me up so I’m going to gush about Vampire Science. I’m just going to do that and nobody can stop me.

I haven’t read most of the EDAs yet, but this book. THIS. BOOK. 10 out of f█cking 10.

Okay first things first there’s this scene, and it becomes a hell of a lot harsher in hindsight because that book was written a long time before the Time War was even a thing:

WARNING WARNING HARSHER IN HINDSIGHT

OH MY GOD

Okay.

I’m not sure I like Sam. I’ve only read two books with her but she kind of annoys me somehow. Don’t really know why yet.

But it doesn’t matter, first because she’s not that annoying, second because there’s a lot of other likeable characters in this, and third because - EIGHT. JUST EIGHT BEING EIGHT.

Did you just explain the whole plot in one sentence?

Eight, stop being randomly cute, please.

Why am I laughing so much.

ALL THE KITTENS WANT TO CUDDLE UP WITH HIM I’M DYING

Is he seriously threatening a vampire while eating a goddamn salad now

EIGHT WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT YOU BEING RANDOMLY CUTE YOU STOP THAT THIS INSTANT ALSO STOP PLAYING WITH A VAMPIRE VENUS FINGER-TRAP THAT CAN’T BE A GOOD IDEA

What the hell did I just read

Did that damn book just reference one of my favorite movies ever

Eight has got a room full of living butterflies in the TARDIS, and I’m not even surprised because OF COURSE HE’S GOT ONE

Why am I not even surprised²

Why would you need a plan when you have witty comebacks

Are you seriously cracking jokes with a vampire now

EIGHT WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT YOU BEING RANDOMLY CUTE YOU STOP PETTING THIS BAT THIS INSTANT

Did he just sit down all curled up in a ball? Because I draw him doing that sometimes, but I had no evidence to back it up so far. I just draw that because I do that a lot when I feel bad. Not sure why.
