Some highlights of the latest EDA I’ve read (History 101).

I took these screens while reading, along with my reactions. As usual, this is full of spoilers.

I really like the ideas in this book, and any kind of summary I could make of it would sound incredibly creative and exciting. Except it took me eight months to read it. I’m still not entirely sure why. The regulars were either a bit muted (Eight) or pretty good (Fitz and Anji), but the plot dragged a bit in the middle, and the ending is kind of underwhelming, even if it’s okay.

Maybe the book is too dry for my taste? 6/10

I like the 'history is subjective' angle of this book but it's starting to drag a bit

We often think of historical events as big noisy things but depending on the observer they can either be terrifying or strangely mundane, really
