Unnatural History - The Man With The Plan

Image: Fan comic in ten panels, mostly in brown tones. 1) An alley between buildings, full of garbage bags. Fitz is holding by the shoulders an unnamed Faction Paradox agent who looks like a little boy. Sam is facing them. Eight is pulling a broken blue and white giftbox out of a garbage pile. Faction boy: “How ‘bout picking on someone your own size?” Sam, furious: “You pulled a friggin knife on me!!” 2) Eight, opening and shutting the lid of the box to imitate jaws: “Enough of this. Inside this box there is a monster that eats little boys. Tell me who you are and what you’re doing here.” 3) Faction boy, amused, to a clearly annoyed Eight: “Oh wow. You haven’t got a clue, have you?” 4) The boy, increasingly amused but frowning menacingly: “I’m the man, I’m the plan, I’m Peter Pan living in a garbage can. The only thing you know about me is that I can hurt you.” 5) “Not anym-” starts Sam, interrupted by Eight yelling “AH!” loudly ; the hand of the boy from panel 6 is reaching into this panel to hurt him right below the ribs. The Faction boy from this panel: “Gotcha!!”. 6) Sam, very confused, looks at the Faction boy from this panel reaching into the previous panel. Eight is doubled over, clearly in pain, saying: “Sorry, sorry, wasn’t ready for that.” 7) The boy grabs Eight to push him towards Sam while he’s already being pushed by the boy from panel 8. Sam: “Hey!!” 8) The boy is both pushing the Eight from panel 7 with his left hand and the one from this panel with his right hand. A second boy is also pushing him and has one foot in panel 9. 9) A loud noise as if everyone has fallen into the garbage bags, while the two boys from the previous panel are starting to run away. 10) Large view of the alley, with Eight and Sam on the ground in the middle of some garbage, Fitz looking at the two Faction boys, and them running away. Eight, shouting: “I don’t want to be anywhere near you when the laws of time catch up with you!!” The Faction boys, smiling widely: “A paradox, uh?” “Yeah, ain’t it?”.

Comic adaptation of that scene in the EDA Unnatural History where the Faction boy frees himself with the help of a little paradox. (Nov 29th, 2019)
